Public Land Resource Library
Through collaboration, advocacy, and grantmaking, GCC amplifies community-based solutions to a regional frame to solve the Bay Area’s housing, transportation and climate challenges.
Our Public Land Working Group engages non-profit advocates, organizing groups, and technical providers who are working on public land campaigns, research, and policy implementation. We work towards increasing awareness of public lands as a community preservation and affordable housing tool in the regional political consciousness.
GCC and the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California co-chair the Public Lands Working Group and the Working Group consists of representatives from the following organizations: East Bay Housing Organizations, Enterprise Community Partners, Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County, Monument Impact, North Bay Organizing Project, Public Advocates, Public Interest Law Project, Urban Habitat, Richmond LAND, and Working Partnerships USA.
